About the Role
As a Relationship Banker in our Valparaiso branch, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor to retail and business clients, helping them meet their banking and financial management goals. This full-time position combines personalized service with sophisticated financial products in a community-focused banking environment.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative, proactive financial planning conversations
- Cross-sell deposit accounts, consumer loans, credit cards, and other banking products to both existing and new clients
- Assist clients with account opening, transactions, and general banking services at the Valparaiso branch
- Identify client financial needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions
- Meet and exceed individual and branch performance targets
- Handle routine banking operations, including account management and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build client rapport
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and financial markets—or demonstrated willingness to develop expertise
- Sales aptitude and comfort with business development in a consultative setting
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities in a fast-paced branch environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory and compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; banking, finance, or sales experience a plus
