Fund Accountant Associate

Man Group is seeking a Fund Accountant Associate to join their Fort Worth, Tarrant County office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support critical accounting operations for a global alternative investment management firm serving sophisticated institutional clients.

The Opportunity

As a Fund Accountant Associate at Man Group, you'll play a vital role in the accounting and financial operations that keep alternative investment strategies on track. You'll work with a talented team handling the accounting complexities of multi-manager portfolios and alternative investment vehicles, supporting the firm's mission to deliver outperformance for institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile fund accounting transactions including trades, cash flows, and corporate actions
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for alternative investment funds and accounts
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end fund accounting closes and reporting
• Prepare and verify fund valuations and net asset value (NAV) calculations
• Reconcile fund accounts with custodians and prime brokers
• Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements for investment funds
• Collaborate with investment teams, operations, and finance on fund-related matters
• Work with accounting systems and maintain data integrity for portfolio tracking

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in fund accounting or investment operations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP)
• Familiarity with alternative investment fund structures such as hedge funds or private equity
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities
