About the Role

As a full-time Interior Designer with Steinhafels in Downers Grove, DuPage County, you will partner directly with clients to understand their style, needs, and goals, then translate those ideas into thoughtfully designed living spaces. This is an on-site position where your creativity has a real, lasting impact on the people and homes you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to learn their tastes, lifestyle, and design aspirations
• Develop personalized interior design concepts that reflect each client's vision
• Recommend furniture, layouts, color palettes, and finishes that suit the space
• Guide customers through selections to help bring their dream home to life
• Collaborate with the Steinhafels team to deliver a seamless, enjoyable design experience
• Build lasting client relationships rooted in trust and great results

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for interior design and transforming residential spaces
• Strong creative eye for color, scale, layout, and style
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with clients
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
• Comfortable working on-site in Downers Grove, DuPage County (this is not a remote role)
