Freelance Foundation Math Instructor at the University of Europe – Hamburg

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential higher education institution in Hamburg seeking a freelance mathematics instructor for their Foundation program. You will deliver instruction to international students preparing for university-level studies.

• Teach Foundation Mathematics courses covering functions, systems of equations, matrices, logic, and probability
• Deliver 3 hours of instruction per week in English
• Develop students' mathematical reasoning and research skills for academic success
• Design and administer formative assessments and final examinations
• Track student attendance and monitor progress
• Collaborate with program management on curriculum delivery
• Prepare foundation students for bachelor-level admission requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven teaching experience in mathematics instruction
• Experience working with international student groups
• Fluency in English with the ability to explain fundamental mathematical concepts clearly
• Strong communication skills for diverse learning environments
• Commitment to student success and foundational skill development
