AEP Enterprise Architect

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency on a 6-month fixed-term contract search for an AEP Enterprise Architect based in London with hybrid working arrangements. Our client operates at the intersection of technology and marketing, delivering growth-focused solutions for enterprise clients.

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical driver for closing sales opportunities and supporting customer success with marketing technology programs. You will engage with customer technical, marketing, and C-suite teams to evaluate current-state technology and business objectives, delivering future-state marketing technical architectures and digital engagement roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy for sales opportunities and existing customer success initiatives
• Engage with technical, marketing, and executive stakeholders to assess current technology states and business objectives
• Design and deliver future-state marketing technical architectures
• Manage digital engagement roadmap planning and demonstrate innovative digital experiences
• Communicate complex technical concepts through compelling narratives to diverse audiences
• Diagnose challenges and opportunities, producing actionable future-state architectures
• Lead revenue-focused activities including sales pipeline management and value realization measurement

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Past experience in a consultative role supporting large-scale enterprise digital marketing ecosystems as an Architect, Principal Consultant, or Marketing/Technical leader
• Working knowledge of end-to-end digital marketing journey including Adtech (CDP/DMPs, DSPs), Marketing Automation, omni-channel personalization, Content Management, CRM, Media Execution, and Reporting/Insights
• Significant hands-on experience using enterprise platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft) with emphasis on REST APIs, Cloud Storage, Structured/Unstructured Data, Security, and Data Ingress/Egress
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical, marketing, and C-suite audiences
• Strong diagnostic skills to quickly identify challenges and opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in PowerPoint and Lucid Chart/Visio
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, MBA, or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications:

• One or more current Adobe Certified Expert certifications in AEP, AJO, Analytics/CJA, RTCDP, Target, or Workfront
• Recent experience building enterprise-level ROI-focused business cases for technology transformations
• Hands-on experience architecting or delivering native, Flutter, or React-Native mobile applications
• Experience leading a revenue-focused book of business including sales pipeline via Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics and scope/contract review
• Familiarity with generative AI solutions
