Founding Sales

Responsibilities

We are representing a well-funded European technology company building infrastructure for next-generation digital commerce. They have closed a significant seed round and are scaling rapidly with strong product-market fit and client retention.

As the founding Account Executive focused on brand partnerships, you will own the complete sales motion and help establish the commercial foundation during a period of high growth:

• Execute the full sales cycle with brand clients: prospecting, qualification, product demonstration, negotiation, and close
• Build and maintain your own pipeline from the ground up, with rigorous tracking of every opportunity and next action
• Own and consistently exceed quarterly revenue targets
• Develop outbound sales playbooks in collaboration with the Head of Sales, including sequencing, messaging frameworks, and qualification criteria
• Implement automation across research, outreach, and follow-up processes using AI tools
• Channel market intelligence back to Sales and Product leadership: client needs, pricing feedback, and common objections

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2–7 years of sales or business development experience in media, adtech, digital marketplaces, or e-commerce
• Demonstrated ownership of a B2B sales cycle from initial contact through signed contract—SDR or meeting-setting roles alone do not qualify
• Highly analytical approach: you manage your business by metrics and can discuss quota attainment, pipeline velocity, and cycle length without reference materials
• Active user of AI tools in your sales workflow with experience automating portions of the sales process
• Professional-level English
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris for on-site work

Preferred:

• Track record selling to brand-side marketing or e-commerce decision-makers
• Fluency with advertising technology metrics such as CPM, CPC, and ROAS, plus programmatic ecosystem knowledge
• Prior startup or scale-up environment experience

Pay

Our client offers a competitive base salary plus attractive variable compensation and equity (BSPCE). Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process based on experience level and performance expectations.
