Field Medical Director, Vascular Surgery (Part-time or Full-time)

Evolent is seeking a Field Medical Director, Vascular Surgery (Part-time or Full-time) to join our clinical leadership team at the NY State Campus in Albany County, contributing physician expertise that helps people with complex and costly health conditions receive thoughtful, high-quality care.

About the Role

As a Field Medical Director focused on vascular surgery, you will apply your specialty knowledge to support evidence-based clinical decision-making across Evolent's partner health plans and provider networks. This on-site position in Albany County is available on either a part-time or full-time basis, giving experienced physicians flexibility in how they engage. You will work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues spanning specialty and primary care to help connect a fragmented health care system and deliver care marked by both clinical rigor and genuine compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery clinical expertise to guide appropriate, evidence-based care decisions.
• Collaborate with health plans and providers to improve outcomes for patients with the most complex and costly conditions.
• Coordinate across specialties and primary care to promote consistent, well-integrated care.
• Champion a patient-centered approach that reflects the standard of care you would want for your own loved ones.

Qualifications

• Medical doctor with specialty training and experience in vascular surgery.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with plans, providers, and care teams.
• Availability for an on-site role at the NY State Campus in Albany County, on a part-time or full-time schedule.
