About the Role
As a Family Law Attorney, you'll play a central role in our San Francisco office, bringing your expertise to high-impact cases spanning divorce, custody, spousal support, property division, and related family law matters. We're looking for a dedicated legal professional who combines technical mastery with genuine compassion for clients navigating life's most complex transitions.
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in family law disputes, including divorce proceedings, child custody arrangements, and support determinations
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and agreements with meticulous attention to detail
- Interview and counsel clients on their legal rights, options, and realistic outcomes
- Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to reach favorable resolutions
- Prepare cases for trial and provide vigorous courtroom advocacy when necessary
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout extended engagements
- Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other legal professionals on case teams
What We're Looking For
- Active California bar membership in good standing
- Demonstrated experience practicing family law (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal sensitivity
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Professional judgment and commitment to ethical practice
- Passion for serving clients during difficult life events
