About This Position
This is a full-time role at a newly built service facility in Sussex County, equipped with modern diagnostic technology and advanced shop equipment. We're expanding our presence in the Seaford area and seeking experienced automotive technicians ready for steady work in a professionally designed environment that supports your career growth within the HERTRICH organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic and repair services on vehicle electrical, mechanical, and drivetrain systems
- Operate and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment and shop tools
- Complete work orders accurately with attention to detail and efficiency
- Maintain workspace safety and cleanliness standards
- Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle assessments and repair recommendations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
Requirements
- Documented experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic
- Proficiency in diagnostic troubleshooting and vehicle systems repair
- Ability to service multiple vehicle makes and models
- Valid driver's license
- Commitment to professional workmanship and customer satisfaction
- ASE certification highly valued
