Executive Assistant

SALIX Data Africa Limited seeks an organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support our leadership team in Nairobi. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work at the heart of our operations, managing administrative functions and enabling our executives to focus on strategic priorities.

What This Role Involves

As an Executive Assistant with SALIX Data Africa Limited, you will be the backbone of our executive office, handling a diverse portfolio of administrative, scheduling, and organisational responsibilities. This contract role demands excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs whilst maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment. You'll coordinate between internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless operations and professional communications.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage executives' calendars, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel logistics
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support senior leadership
• Handle correspondence and manage confidential communications professionally
• Coordinate meetings, board functions, and company events
• Maintain filing systems and manage executive office operations
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the executive office
• Process administrative matters including expense claims, purchase orders, and record-keeping

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational abilities and time management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and office productivity tools
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proactive attitude and willingness to go beyond standard duties
• Based in or willing to work in Nairobi
