Position Summary

The ES Installation Technician position at Tranetechnologies centers on executing precise installations of designated systems and related components at sites in 2 Locations. As a Full Time team member, you will apply technical expertise to complete setups that meet quality standards, operational guidelines, and project timelines while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy during every phase of the work.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out installations of ES systems and associated components following established plans, diagrams, and industry-accepted practices
• Prepare job sites, select appropriate tools, and verify materials ahead of each installation task
• Conduct thorough testing, calibration, and visual inspections to confirm proper functionality after installation
• Identify and resolve minor technical issues that arise during setup to keep projects moving forward
• Coordinate closely with colleagues and site contacts to align schedules and maintain clear communication
• Adhere to all safety procedures, wear required protective gear, and keep work areas organized and free of hazards
• Record installation progress, note any variances, and provide updates so that documentation remains complete and accurate

Requirements

• Solid background performing installation work as a technician or in a closely related role involving technical systems
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools plus the ability to follow electrical or mechanical layouts
• Skill in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer instructions for accurate ES system setup
• Capacity to lift equipment, work at various heights or confined spaces, and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality results
• Strong teamwork orientation combined with independent initiative when completing assigned tasks
