Energy Portfolio Manager, Wholesale

Meta is hiring an Energy Portfolio Manager, Wholesale for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County operations. This full-time position leads the direction and optimization of Meta's wholesale energy contracts and capacity arrangements, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll oversee the strategic management and commercial optimization of Meta's wholesale energy portfolio. You'll drive contract performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and align procurement decisions with Meta's infrastructure, reliability, and cost priorities. Working within our Global Energy Team, you'll directly influence how Meta procures and manages energy resources that power our operations and support the connectivity that billions of people depend on daily.

Responsibilities

• Execute wholesale energy and capacity contract management across the entire transaction lifecycle—initiation, execution, settlement, and ongoing compliance
• Actively manage and optimize the wholesale supply portfolio to achieve commercial targets and cost objectives
• Maintain operational compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements across all wholesale positions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure wholesale energy strategy aligns with company-wide growth, reliability, and financial goals
• Analyze wholesale market conditions and competitive dynamics to identify commercial opportunities and manage portfolio risk
• Develop and deliver performance reports and commercial analysis for stakeholder review

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven background managing energy contracts, wholesale markets, or energy procurement operations
• Advanced analytical abilities with strong expertise in spreadsheets, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis
• Working knowledge of wholesale electricity, capacity markets, or wholesale energy procurement
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects and collaborating across teams and functions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to contract and compliance detail
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
