About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential construction organization in Oebisfelde-Weferlingen seeking candidates for a dual study program in Civil Engineering (Tiefbau specialization) beginning in 2027. Our client operates in the infrastructure and construction sector, delivering projects that shape communities and build lasting value.

This is a unique opportunity to earn your Bachelor of Engineering while gaining hands-on construction experience through a structured 9-semester program that combines academic study with practical vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Complete coursework at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal during winter semesters (October through February) for the first three years
• Alternate between university study and on-site construction training in semester blocks during the first six semesters
• Develop technical and practical skills in a construction trade from our client's training portfolio
• Earn a recognized skilled worker certification (Facharbeiterabschluss) by the end of your third training semester
• Complete your final three semesters exclusively at the university
• Prepare a Bachelor thesis addressing a real-world challenge in the construction industry
• Apply classroom learning to active construction projects and job sites

What We're Looking For

• Allgemeine Hochschulreife, fachgebundene Hochschulreife (Abitur), Fachhochschulreife, or equivalent qualification
• Genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sector
• Strong teamwork skills and motivation to learn new technical competencies
• Reliability and punctuality in both academic and worksite settings
• Willingness to commit to a 9-semester program combining theory and practice
• Ability to transition effectively between university study and hands-on construction work
