Director, Production – UA Kids

Join Centric Brands as a Director of Production overseeing United Artists Kids product development and manufacturing operations. Based in Manhattan with offices in Gramercy Park and Murray Hill, you'll lead production strategy across our thriving kids apparel, accessories, and entertainment divisions.

About the Role

This leadership position drives production excellence for one of our fastest-growing brand segments. You'll own end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensure quality standards, manage vendor relationships, and optimize production timelines and costs. This is a full-time role requiring strategic vision, operational discipline, and a passion for bringing innovative kids' products to market.

What You'll Do

• Manage all aspects of product production, from sourcing and vendor selection through quality assurance and delivery
• Lead and mentor a production team; coordinate cross-functionally with design, supply chain, and sales departments
• Establish and enforce quality standards, compliance requirements, and ethical manufacturing practices across all production facilities
• Optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and meet aggressive timelines without compromising quality
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and logistics providers
• Monitor market trends, manufacturing innovations, and industry best practices to keep our production capabilities competitive
• Report production performance, inventory metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of production management experience in apparel, consumer goods, or related manufacturing industries
• Proven track record leading production teams and managing complex supply chains at scale
• Deep understanding of quality control, compliance, and vendor management in global manufacturing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort navigating cost, quality, and speed trade-offs
• Experience managing kids' products or youth-focused brands a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
