Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

3iQ seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the organisation's financial strategy and performance management as a senior finance executive based in the United Arab Emirates. In this full-time role, you will own the complete financial planning function—from sophisticated forecasting models to board-level strategic insights that guide enterprise decisions.

As a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Coincheck Group N.V., 3iQ combines cutting-edge digital asset expertise with enterprise-grade governance and risk management. You will lead the full financial planning & analysis function, owning budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and strategic financial advisory across 3iQ and in coordination with parent company finance operations based in the United Arab Emirates.

What You'll Do

• Develop and oversee annual budgets, multi-year strategic forecasts, and rolling financial projections across all business divisions
• Build and maintain sophisticated P&L models, balance sheet forecasts, and cash flow structures with full formula integrity and dynamic calculation chains
• Prepare executive summaries, board packages, and financial documentation supporting strategic decisions, capital allocation, and risk governance
• Stress-test new ventures, partnerships, and acquisitions through scenario analysis and detailed financial modelling
• Lead financial review of sales pipelines, revenue projections, and assets-under-management forecasts with input from cross-functional teams
• Serve as financial strategist to department leaders and the C-suite, translating complex financial narratives into actionable business insights
• Collaborate with the parent company finance function and peer organisations to establish group-wide financial standards, shared analytical frameworks, and consolidated reporting
• Develop comprehensive monthly performance reports tracking actual-to-forecast variances, financial risks, and emerging opportunities
• Advance financial data quality, system integrity, and real-time reporting capabilities through modern tooling and automation
• Mentor and develop finance team capabilities in FP&A methodologies and financial thinking

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis experience, with minimum 3 years in senior or lead financial roles
• Proven expertise in multi-entity corporate structures, parent company reporting, and consolidated financial management
• Expert-level financial modelling skills; ability to architect, validate, and maintain complex, dynamic models
• Track record of presenting sophisticated financial analysis to executive and board audiences with clarity and persuasiveness
• Strong interpersonal influence at senior levels with ability to align cross-functional stakeholders toward financial objectives
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial systems; hands-on experience with NetSuite and Float Financial strongly preferred
• Familiarity with financial tools including QuickBooks Online, Procurify, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office suite
• Background in asset management, regulated financial services, or similar complex business environment preferred
• Eligibility to work lawfully in the United Arab Emirates required
