Strategic Marketing Manager BioPharma and Clinical Development

Danaher seeks a Strategic Marketing Manager for BioPharma and Clinical Development to drive segment strategy and growth across pipeline-driven markets. The Opportunity

This is your chance to lead strategic marketing for a portfolio serving critical markets—Pharma, BioPharma, Biotech, CRO/CDMO, and late translational research. You'll define market positioning, build competitive advantage, and guide teams across regions in executing a vision that accelerates scientific discovery and clinical progress.

What You'll Do

• Develop and evolve segment strategy for pipeline-driven life sciences markets, translating business priorities into clear positioning and differentiated value propositions
• Conduct deep market analysis—customer insights, unmet needs, competitive landscape, and future market expectations—to inform strategic direction
• Integrate strategic priorities with commercial, product, and marketing teams to ensure aligned execution and consistent market messaging
• Own segment performance metrics including growth, market share advancement, marketing return on investment, and rapid strategy adaptation
• Prepare to travel internationally up to 30% of the year for market engagement and stakeholder alignment

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in BioPharma and Biotech markets, particularly capital equipment and technology marketing (microscopy, imaging, analytical instrumentation)
• Demonstrated success in strategic marketing, business strategy, or product commercialisation roles across major markets: North America, Europe, and China
• Ability to navigate complex matrix organisations, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across functions
• Master's degree or Diploma in a Life Science discipline
• Valid driving licence with an acceptable driving record
• Advantageous: German language proficiency (spoken and written), background in Business Administration
