About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization in Aliso Viejo, Orange County. We are seeking a Director, Facility Operations to lead site management and operational excellence. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and safety protocols across the site
- Lead facilities team members and coordinate with vendors and contractors
- Develop and manage facility budgets, capital improvement plans, and operational expenses
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety codes, and accreditation requirements
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and optimize building systems performance
- Manage emergency preparedness plans and crisis response procedures
- Coordinate space planning, renovations, and facility improvement projects
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in healthcare settings
- 3+ years in a director-level or senior leadership role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Proven budget management and financial acumen
- Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (CFM, FMP, or similar) are a plus
