About the Role

As Director of Clinical Supply Chain Operations, you'll own the operational infrastructure that supports Insmed's clinical programs and commercial supply chain. You'll set strategy, build systems, and lead teams to ensure inventory is optimized, compliance is seamless, and distribution timelines meet the demanding needs of clinical research and patient care.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive clinical supply chain strategies aligned with business growth and regulatory requirements
• Manage inventory planning, procurement, storage, and distribution networks to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
• Oversee vendor and logistics partner relationships, negotiating contracts and performance metrics
• Build and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with FDA, GxP, and pharmaceutical quality standards across all operations
• Implement systems and metrics to track KPIs, forecast demand, and optimize supply chain costs
• Collaborate with clinical, manufacturing, and commercial teams to align supply chain with organizational priorities

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of supply chain, logistics, or operations experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or related industries
• Proven track record leading and scaling supply chain teams and operations
• Deep knowledge of GxP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical cold-chain or specialty product handling
• Strategic thinking with hands-on operational discipline—comfort with both high-level planning and tactical execution
• Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or life sciences; MBA or relevant certification a plus
