Director, AI Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital marketing organization seeking a Director, AI Solutions to lead forward-deployed AI initiatives. In this client-facing role, you'll design and deploy AI solutions that automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and create new capabilities for both internal teams and client organizations.

This is a remote-first position based in the USA. You'll report to senior AI leadership and collaborate across client strategy, product management, and data engineering teams to shape the future of AI-powered marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI solutions that automate workflows, enhance deliverables, and create net new capabilities for internal teams and clients
• Own the full lifecycle of deployed AI solutions—from concept through maintenance, enhancement, reliability monitoring, and re-platforming
• Architect secure integrations with proprietary intelligence platforms, third-party tools, and client systems
• Partner with AI leadership, client strategy teams, media strategists, data engineers, and clients to identify high-value opportunities and translate them into production solutions
• Manage and develop 1–3 AI strategists or engineers, providing coaching, work review, and growth planning

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in marketing (agency or brand-side) in client service, account management, product, or technology-focused roles
• 2+ years of hands-on experience shipping and operating enterprise production AI systems, including agentic orchestration, tool-use protocols, API integration, and SQL/data warehouse fluency (BigQuery preferred)
• Experience managing and developing early-career talent
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical approaches into business value for executives and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with development, engineering, and product teams
• First-principles problem-solving mindset—ability to identify root problems that need addressing
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and move quickly from concept to build

Pay

Our client has indicated an anticipated annual salary range of $135,000–$165,000, along with benefits and an annual performance bonus component. Exact compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and location.
