About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in their search for a Director of Advisory Services specializing in Data Engineering and Project Delivery. This remote leadership role combines strategic consulting, technical expertise, and team development to drive performance improvement across healthcare systems.
In this position, you will lead client engagements from strategy through implementation, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare analytics and data engineering. You'll oversee the development of data pipelines, analytics solutions, and performance metrics while mentoring staff and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements with healthcare clients, managing relationships, resources, and project economics
- Oversee development and delivery of client analytics, ensuring quality and timely implementation
- Design and develop data pipelines and streamline data ingestion processes
- Create standard KPIs and analytics frameworks for healthcare performance improvement
- Manage engagement risks, issues, and project logistics across projects of varying sizes and durations
- Supervise, mentor, and develop consulting staff while creating a collaborative team environment
- Deliver effective presentations to client audiences on project outcomes, recommendations, and strategy
- Support business development opportunities and contribute to internal best practices
- Travel up to 10% as needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 7+ years of applicable experience in healthcare consulting, analytics, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in healthcare finance, operations, strategic planning, or decision support analytics
- Strong qualitative analysis and strategic problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in a relevant healthcare domain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing presentations
Preferred:
- Master's degree
- Revenue cycle analytics experience
- Experience with Databricks
- Hands-on experience creating data pipelines and streamlining data ingestion processes
- Experience quality assuring analytics and mentoring others in deliverable production
