About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Developer Advocate to join their remote team. Our client is building modern infrastructure for healthcare delivery, and they need a technical communicator who can bridge the gap between their platform and the developer community.
As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is conducting the initial search and screening process. This is a remote position ideal for someone passionate about healthcare innovation and developer enablement.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with the developer community through forums, social media, webinars, and meetups
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external developers, collecting feedback and sharing insights with internal teams
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, tutorials, sample code, and SDKs to support API users
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance API usability based on developer feedback
- Write blog posts, produce videos, and deliver presentations showcasing best practices, new features, and real-world applications
- Develop technical content for hackathons, developer conferences, and community events
- Provide direct support to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues and optimize their integrations
- Conduct workshops, office hours, and training sessions to onboard developers to the platform
- Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events as a technical expert
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with FHIR standards is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a broad audience
- Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, EMR systems, and developer challenges in health tech is highly desirable
- Proven track record of engaging with developer communities or contributing to open-source projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
