Data / AI Subject Matter Expert

Eliassen Group is hiring a Data / AI Subject Matter Expert in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County. This is a full-time position for a senior professional ready to shape how organizations leverage data and artificial intelligence.

About This Position

This senior advisory role places you at the intersection of strategy and execution. You'll partner with enterprise clients to architect and implement data and AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact. As a trusted expert, you'll guide complex technical decisions, build confidence with stakeholders, and help clients navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of modern data platforms and AI technologies.

Core Duties

• Lead technical presales activities, translating client business challenges into data and AI solution architectures
• Conduct discovery sessions and assessments to understand organizational data maturity and artificial intelligence readiness
• Develop strategic roadmaps that integrate modern data platforms with AI capabilities, bridging technical and business objectives
• Provide expert guidance on platform selection, architecture patterns, and implementation best practices
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
• Stay current with emerging data and AI technologies and industry trends to inform client recommendations

Who We're Looking For

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, machine learning, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated expertise in modern data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML frameworks
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of closing technical-heavy deals or leading successful consulting engagements
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
• Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
