About the Role
As a Consulting Manager in our Power Generation practice, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to utility industry leaders, driving strategy and execution on complex modernization projects. You'll combine deep industry acumen with management expertise to guide cross-functional teams through energy transition challenges, from grid optimization to renewable integration and operational resilience.
What You'll Do
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives at leading utility companies
- Manage consulting engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring measurable business impact
- Lead and mentor consulting teams through discovery, solution design, and implementation phases
- Identify growth opportunities within the utility sector and build lasting client relationships
- Collaborate with technology and engineering specialists to deliver integrated solutions around efficiency, sustainability, and grid modernization
- Contribute to thought leadership and industry insights that advance Accenture's market position
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in management consulting, utilities consulting, or utility industry operations
- Proven track record closing and delivering major transformation engagements
- Deep knowledge of electric utility business models, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends
- Strong business acumen with ability to quantify impact and ROI for utility clients
- Leadership experience managing diverse teams through complex projects
- Excellent communication skills for executive-level and technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or related field
