Edge Services GTM Specialist, Edge Services GTMS

Amazon Web Services is hiring an Edge Services GTM Specialist in Portland, Multnomah County to drive market growth and customer adoption of our cloud security and content delivery solutions. This is a full-time position leading go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and competitive positioning for AWS Edge Services.

About the Role

The Edge Services GTM Specialist collaborates with product, sales, and marketing teams to bring AWS edge computing and perimeter protection solutions to market. You'll own customer engagement strategy, market positioning, and adoption roadmaps for services including Amazon CloudFront, Web Application Firewall (WAF), DDoS protection, and bot control capabilities. This role bridges the gap between customer needs and product innovation, ensuring AWS Edge Services solutions are discoverable and compelling to enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute go-to-market plans that position AWS Edge Services as the customer's first choice for content delivery, web application security, and threat mitigation
• Create customer engagement materials and messaging frameworks that highlight CloudFront, WAF, DDoS protection, and bot mitigation capabilities
• Partner with sales teams to identify customer challenges, competitive threats, and expansion opportunities in the edge services market
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and messaging strategies
• Measure GTM success through customer adoption metrics, pipeline influence, and market awareness indicators
• Support sales enablement initiatives that help customers understand the business value of AWS edge and perimeter protection solutions

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of go-to-market, product marketing, or market development experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or content delivery markets
• Deep familiarity with edge computing architectures, content delivery networks (CDNs), web application security, or DDoS protection concepts
• Proven ability to develop compelling market positioning and customer messaging frameworks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical, sales, and executive audiences
• Experience conducting competitive analysis and translating market insights into actionable GTM strategy
• Analytical mindset with ability to measure and optimize GTM initiatives based on data
