Senior Full Stack Developer

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Frankfort, Franklin County — a full-time opportunity for an experienced engineer ready to build and own solutions across the entire technology stack.

About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer with Eliassen Group in Frankfort, you will take end-to-end ownership of web application development — from crafting polished, responsive user interfaces to engineering the robust back-end services that power them. You'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable, scalable software that meets demanding technical and operational requirements.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop full stack web applications using modern front-end and server-side technologies
• Build, version, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate cleanly with enterprise and third-party systems
• Model and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas to support performance and growth
• Partner with product owners, UX designers, and QA engineers across the full software development lifecycle
• Lead code reviews and establish engineering standards that elevate team-wide code quality
• Support CI/CD pipeline configuration and cloud-based deployment workflows
• Diagnose production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes
• Contribute to sprint planning, architecture discussions, and ongoing technical roadmap decisions

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience as a full stack engineer with equal comfort on the front end and back end
• Proficiency in a modern front-end framework — React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong server-side background using Node.js, Java, Python,.NET, or a comparable technology
• Solid grasp of REST API design principles, security patterns, and systems integration
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and container tooling like Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience supporting government or public sector clients is a meaningful advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective in cross-functional, team-based environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
