About the Role
AdventHealth seeks a dedicated CT Technician to support our diagnostic imaging department, working weekend day shifts on a part-time basis. This role offers flexible scheduling while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in patient care. You'll be part of a compassionate healthcare team committed to the wholeness and well-being of every patient we serve.
What You'll Do
- Operate Computed Tomography equipment safely according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain procedures clearly
- Position patients to obtain optimal image quality
- Monitor patient comfort and respond to patient needs with care and professionalism
- Maintain imaging equipment in proper working order and report maintenance concerns
- Document imaging procedures accurately and maintain patient records
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
What We're Looking For
- Current or eligible CT Technologist certification preferred
- Understanding of CT imaging procedures and safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine commitment to patient care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Physical capability to assist patients and operate imaging equipment
- Professional reliability and positive attitude toward patient service
