About the Role

As a Medical Lab Scientist II PRN with AdventHealth in Poinciana, you will perform and interpret clinical laboratory testing that clinicians rely on to make timely treatment decisions. This is an on-site position; it is not a remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct, analyze, and verify a range of clinical laboratory tests across disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, escalating equipment issues as needed.
• Review results for accuracy and report critical values promptly to the appropriate care team.
• Maintain quality control standards and follow regulatory and safety protocols throughout all testing.
• Document findings carefully and support continuous improvement within the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Education and certification consistent with a Medical Lab Scientist II role, in line with applicable state and federal requirements.
• Demonstrated experience performing and validating clinical laboratory testing.
