CPS Account Program Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization seeking an Account Program Manager to support their federal government sector. This fully remote role serves as the strategic partner for public sector customers, ensuring successful adoption and long-term value delivery. You'll coordinate across technical teams to manage implementations, mitigate risks, and maintain exceptional customer relationships within regulated government environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned federal accounts, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, system integrators, and partners
• Align solution capabilities with customer mission objectives and strategic goals within government agencies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Support, Services, Customer Engineering) on customer projects and initiatives
• Lead project execution ensuring implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer goals
• Track project progress, manage scope and risks, and provide regular status updates to customers and internal leadership
• Identify and track customer risk indicators including usage patterns, sentiment, support volume, and executive engagement
• Provide guidance during onboarding, deployment, upgrades, and ongoing operations
• Coordinate technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions
• Manage escalations by coordinating cross-functional resolution teams
• Support renewals and expansion by demonstrating technical value and best practices
• Develop and execute Success Plans for each assigned customer based on their objectives
• Advocate for customer needs internally and provide product feedback based on use-cases

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar)
• Experience supporting U.S. federal government customers (civilian, DoD, or IC agencies)
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud-based solutions
• Experience working in regulated or high-security environments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially GovCloud or equivalent
• Experience deploying enterprise solutions and working with system integrators
• Knowledge of government hierarchy and operations
• Technical background in data management solutions
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Active or eligible U.S. Government security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen residing on U.S. soil (required for government contract support)
