Corporate Accounting Supervisor

Prime System Solutions is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Supervisor to oversee accounting operations and lead a team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. As a full-time member of our finance department, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and drive process improvements across our accounting function.

The Opportunity

This is a key supervisory role within our finance team, responsible for managing daily accounting activities, mentoring accounting staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. You will work closely with senior finance leadership to streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, and support the organisation's strategic financial objectives. This position offers the opportunity to develop and manage a team whilst taking ownership of critical accounting processes that directly impact business decision-making.

Core Duties

• Oversee and supervise accounting team members, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and staff development
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting deadlines
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to prevent errors and fraud
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Identify process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS or local accounting standards, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is advantageous
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Leadership capability and experience mentoring or training accounting staff
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, ICMA, or equivalent) are desirable
