Consulting Solution Architect – Managed Services

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology solutions organization seeking a Consulting Solution Architect - Managed Services. This is a field-based technical pre-sales role where you'll develop comprehensive security and infrastructure solutions, provide consultative guidance to enterprise customers, and serve as a trusted advisor to drive managed services growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment and service solutions for enterprise customers, including technical scoping and support for managed services offerings
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and sales to provide consultative guidance, plan sales strategy, and deliver technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
• Author statements of work (SOWs) and provide accurate costing and pricing of managed services opportunities
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations while defining actions to meet customer expectations throughout the sales cycle
• Uncover customer long-term goals and requirements, crafting solutions that build toward desired end goals
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
• Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple product families and complex managed services offerings
• Work with resource coordinators to ensure appropriate technical and services resources are deployed for engagements
• Collaborate with delivery groups to review technical analysis and compile financial data supporting new or revised offerings
• Drive outreach initiatives, technical enablement projects, and mentor other solution architects and field sellers
• Acquire and maintain relevant technology and industry certifications

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery roles, or 12 years of equivalent experience
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, particularly in: Networking (Cisco, Aruba, SD-WAN), Cybersecurity (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Exabeam, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike), and Cloud/Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, Converged/Hyperconverged Systems, Storage, Endpoint Management)
• Self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and minimal need for direction
• Proven success collaborating across cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Delivery
• Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills with ability to serve as a trusted advisor
• Exceptional solution design and problem-solving capabilities with track record of designing scalable, secure, cost-effective architectures
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage at both executive and technical levels
• Deep industry knowledge with understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and managed services best practices
• Ability to translate business challenges into strategic technology solutions that deliver measurable value
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support client engagements and project delivery
• Familiarity with system patching and endpoint management is a plus
