Assisted Home Health & Hospice is hiring full-time caregivers and CHHAs to join our Private Duty Division in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County. If you're driven by compassion and committed to making a meaningful difference in clients' lives every day, we want to meet you.

About the Role

As a caregiver or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) with Assisted Home Health & Hospice, you'll provide direct, dignified care to individuals in their homes throughout the Thousand Oaks area. This is hands-on work where your presence and attentiveness directly improve quality of life. You'll build trusted relationships with clients and their families while delivering essential personal care and support services.

What You'll Do

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting in compliance with client preferences and care plans
• Support activities of daily living and help maintain a safe, clean home environment
• Respond compassionately to client needs and report any changes in condition to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Document care activities and maintain clear communication with clients and their families

What We're Looking For

• Valid CHHA certification (or willingness to obtain) or proven caregiving experience
• Genuine compassion for helping others and patience in challenging situations
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to manage your schedule responsibly
• Clear communication skills and respect for client dignity and independence
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely; physical stamina for in-home work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within Ventura County
