Companion Caregiver/STNA

What This Role Involves

In this part-time position, you'll provide direct care and companionship to seniors in their homes throughout Southwest Ohio. You'll work independently to help clients maintain their daily routines and independence while ensuring they feel valued and supported. This role offers meaningful work with flexible scheduling that allows you to make a real impact on seniors' lives.

Core Duties

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and bathing
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and safe movement
• Provide social companionship and emotional support
• Prepare nutritious meals and help with eating assistance
• Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying
• Remind clients about medications as prescribed
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities
• Observe and communicate client health concerns to your supervisor
• Document care provided and maintain client records

Who We're Looking For

• STNA or CNA certification (or actively pursuing it)
• Previous experience providing personal care or home care assistance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle physical demands of caregiving work
• Strong commitment to client dignity and privacy
• Reliability and the ability to maintain consistent schedules
• A compassionate approach to senior care
• Dependable transportation and flexibility
