Commercial Terrain – Indépendant (Freelance)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking independent field sales professionals in the Hossegor area. This is a freelance commission-based role focused on supporting local businesses with modern payment solutions.

Our client provides recognized payment technology to cafés, restaurants, retail shops, salons, and small businesses across France. As an independent sales representative, you will prospect new merchants, demonstrate solutions, and build a portfolio of active clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold outreach to local businesses in your assigned territory including hospitality, retail, and service establishments
• Identify merchant needs and present tailored payment solutions through in-person demonstrations
• Support merchants through activation and onboarding processes
• Build and develop your own client portfolio through proactive prospecting
• Manage your schedule independently with minimum three days per week availability

Please note: This role requires self-generated prospecting. No pre-qualified lead lists are provided.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year of cold prospecting experience (field or telephone) within the past six years
• Proven comfort with proactive B2B sales approaches
• Autonomous, persistent, and results-driven work style
• Availability for at least three days per week
• Valid SIRET number at start date (French freelance registration)
• Territory assignment determined during recruitment based on location and open sectors

Compensation Structure

This is a commission-only role with no base salary or commission cap. The compensation model includes:

• 50% immediate commission on equipment, software, and first-month payment processing generated by signed merchants
• 20% recurring revenue commission on ongoing merchant activity, paid monthly for up to 24 months per client

Example earnings: An active merchant processing approximately €15,000 monthly could generate over €1,000 in cumulative commissions across 24 months. Actual earnings vary based on products sold, merchant activation, real transaction volumes, and sustained merchant activity. No minimum income is guaranteed.

Our client provides initial training, demonstration equipment, and sales materials. A regional manager remains available for ongoing support. You are responsible for your own travel and associated expenses; no company vehicle is provided.
