Commercial Driver – Part Time

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Driver – Part Time to join our team in Oneonta, Otsego County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support our automotive retail operations through reliable transportation and logistics support.

What This Role Involves

As a Commercial Driver for AutoZone, you'll be the backbone of our delivery and logistics operations. Your driving and time management skills will ensure our stores and customers receive the automotive products they need, on schedule. This role combines vehicle operation, route coordination, and the customer service values AutoZone customers expect.

Core Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport automotive parts and products
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Load, secure, and verify accuracy of shipments before departure
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with store staff and customers
• Document delivery records and report any issues or delays to management
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and commercial driving requirements

What We're Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Demonstrated experience operating commercial or heavy-duty vehicles
• Strong time management and ability to meet delivery schedules consistently
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices
• Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
• Reliability and ability to work independently
