About the Role
As a full-time Commercial Driver at AutoZone in Sunnyside, Yakima County, you'll be an essential part of our store operations team. Your role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport automotive parts and inventory, ensuring timely deliveries to store locations and customers while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and safety.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and local traffic laws
- Transport automotive parts and inventory to store locations and customer destinations on schedule
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and documentation as required
- Coordinate professionally with store teams and customers during pickup and delivery operations
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained for daily operations
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Safe driving record meeting industry standards
- Knowledge of vehicle operation and basic vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication and professional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while managing delivery schedules
- Physical capability to load, unload, and secure inventory as needed
