Commercial Driver – Part Time

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Driver - Part Time for its location in Chatsworth, Los Angeles County. This is a Full Time position.

About the Role

As a Commercial Driver at AutoZone, you will be responsible for safely transporting automotive parts and supplies between our distribution center, stores, and customer sites. Your work helps keep shelves stocked and ensures that our stores can provide the parts and expertise customers rely on.

What You'll Do

• Load, secure, and unload merchandise using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while minimizing fuel usage and transit time.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel and customers when delivering or picking up parts.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, and vehicle inspections as required.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as sorting, labeling, and staging inventory when not driving.

What We're Looking For

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class used.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with store teams and customers.
• Reliability and punctuality to meet scheduled delivery windows.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance checks and the ability to report issues accurately.
