Pearson is hiring a full-time Sales Specialist in Tucson, Arizona, to drive growth in higher education by partnering with two- and four-year colleges to achieve their goals around student access, learning outcomes, and educational value.

As a Sales Specialist, you'll be at the center of educational innovation, helping college institutions discover and implement solutions that support teaching excellence and student success. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to influence how educators and learners thrive in an evolving landscape.

What You'll Do

• Develop and nurture relationships with faculty, administrators, and decision-makers at colleges throughout the Tucson and greater Arizona region
• Present Pearson's offerings and demonstrate how they address institutional priorities in affordability, access, and student achievement
• Conduct needs assessments to understand each college's unique challenges and opportunities
• Prepare proposals and negotiate agreements that align with customer objectives
• Manage your sales pipeline and work toward quarterly and annual targets
• Provide post-sale support to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales experience; background in education or higher education is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort building authentic business relationships
• Familiarity with the higher education landscape and challenges facing colleges today
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet sales goals consistently
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
