About the Role
As a part-time Mammography Technologist at Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, you will operate mammography and stereotactic biopsy equipment under general supervision. With 14 hours of weekly work, this role supports our breast imaging services and the diagnostic and preventive healthcare mission across New York City.
What You'll Do
- Operate mammography and stereotactic biopsy equipment following established clinical protocols
- Position patients appropriately and provide clear communication to ensure comfort and image quality
- Maintain equipment functionality and ensure full compliance with radiation safety standards
- Document imaging records accurately and meet all regulatory and institutional requirements
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services
