Cloud Services Analyst

Phoenix Software is recruiting a Cloud Services Analyst to join our growing team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in cloud infrastructure and support whilst contributing to the success of our clients across the United Kingdom and beyond.

About This Position

As our Cloud Services Analyst, you'll be the technical bridge between our clients' cloud environments and our engineering teams. You'll take ownership of cloud platform administration, monitoring, and optimization—ensuring that our clients' infrastructure runs reliably and efficiently. Your role combines hands-on technical work with client liaison, making you instrumental in delivering exceptional cloud support and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Core Duties

• Administer, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services across client environments
• Troubleshoot cloud-related technical issues and escalate complex problems to engineering teams where needed
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and security patches on cloud systems
• Analyse cloud performance metrics and resource utilisation; provide recommendations for optimisation
• Document configurations, procedures, and solutions to support team knowledge and consistency
• Work with clients to understand their cloud requirements and ensure service levels are met
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement cloud best practices and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience administering cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and compute concepts in cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose technical issues methodically
• Strong communication skills; comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive approach to learning and keeping up with cloud technology trends
