About the Role
As a Cleared Armed Security Officer, you'll deliver armed protection and security oversight at one of our Northern Virginia locations. This position operates on a 12-hour rotating Panama schedule covering day and midnight shifts, ensuring consistent security presence and rapid response capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Execute armed security patrols and maintain physical security protocols at assigned facilities
- Control and monitor access points, verifying credentials for personnel and visitors
- Respond immediately to security breaches, suspicious activities, and emergencies
- Document security events, incidents, and observations in detailed reports and logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams as required
- Assess facility vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements
What We're Looking For
- Active Secret-level security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
- Professional armed security experience and demonstrated competency
- Valid firearms training certification and appropriate endorsements
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong situational awareness, communication, and decision-making abilities
- Physical capability to perform patrol duties and respond to security incidents
