Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology client seeking a Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) for their North American operations in Apopka, FL. This is a full-time, in-person role where you will oversee all day-to-day financial operations, maintain accounting accuracy, and ensure regulatory compliance for a growing organization in the hardware sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-charge bookkeeping operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closing processes
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely vendor payments, client invoicing, and collections management
• Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts, credit cards, and inventory balances
• Coordinate payroll administration, employee expense reimbursements, and state tax filings
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for corporate reporting and external CPA review
• Ensure strict compliance with US GAAP standards, Florida sales tax regulations, and internal financial controls
• Track inventory movements, import/export documentation, and equipment logistics costs

What We're Looking For

• Certification: Active Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) license or equivalent credential required
• Experience: 3–5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in technology, hardware distribution, or manufacturing environments
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Enterprise) or ERP platforms such as SAP or NetSuite, plus strong Excel capabilities
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting principles, Florida state tax requirements, and multi-state payroll practices
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial data
