Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in Crockett, Contra Costa County.

About the Role

This part‑time position supports students’ occupational therapy needs within a school setting for the upcoming academic year. The role is based on‑site in Crockett and requires a commitment to the full school year schedule.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse learning and physical challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust intervention strategies to promote functional independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines for school‑based therapy services.
• Participate in occasional staff meetings and professional development opportunities as scheduled.

What We're Looking For

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and NBCOT certification.
• Experience working in pediatric or school‑based environments is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.
• Flexibility to work a part‑time schedule of approximately 30 hours per week.
• Commitment to completing the full 2026‑2027 school year assignment to qualify for the completion incentive.
