About the Role
Work as a Physical Therapist in a school environment supporting students in achieving their physical development milestones. This part-time position runs for the full 2026-2027 school year at approximately 30 hours per week, providing flexibility within a structured educational setting. Qualified candidates who complete their full school-year assignment will receive a $2,000 completion bonus, plus you'll have the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses by recommending colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments to identify students' mobility and motor skill needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Provide direct physical therapy services to support functional mobility, strength, and coordination
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to reinforce therapeutic goals in the classroom and at home
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies based on outcome data
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with school and state requirements
What We're Looking For
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey or eligible for licensure
- Experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational teams
- Commitment to supporting student development and meeting individual learning needs
- Professional approach to documentation, confidentiality, and compliance
