Safety-Kleen is hiring a Sales and Service Rep for a full-time position in Elizabethport, Union County. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to launch a career in environmental services while building customer relationships across a defined service territory.
About the Role
As a Sales and Service Rep, you'll combine field service, customer support, and sales activities in a route-based position. You'll operate a Class B box truck to visit customer locations, service equipment, collect hazardous materials, and sell products and services. This full-time role provides hands-on experience in a growing environmental services industry with potential for career advancement.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-site service and maintenance for parts washer machines at customer facilities
- Collect and safely transport containerized hazardous waste from customer locations
- Sell products and services to customers along your assigned route
- Build and maintain customer relationships to support account growth and retention
- Operate a Class B box truck to travel between service calls
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records for each customer visit
- Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental regulations
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — Safety-Kleen will pay for your CDL training
- Strong customer service and sales abilities
- Physical capability to handle containers and materials in outdoor conditions
- Commitment to safety practices and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently managing your assigned territory
