About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology client building AI-native consumer applications. They are seeking a CEO, AI Finance to establish and lead an entirely new business unit focused on bringing artificial intelligence to everyday financial management. This is a rare opportunity to define strategy, build products from the ground up, and own full P&L responsibility for an AI-driven finance platform serving consumers across spending, saving, investing, and money management.

Location: United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Define the complete product strategy, roadmap, and business model for the AI Finance division
• Identify and validate financial workflows where AI can materially improve user experience, cost structures, or transaction speed
• Build AI-native financial products from initial concept through market launch and scaling phases
• Own full P&L accountability including customer acquisition, revenue growth, unit economics, and operational performance metrics
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI research teams on capability development and user experience design
• Recruit and build the foundational team across product management, technology, operations, and commercial functions
• Drive expansion into adjacent financial products and geographic markets as the business matures

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record building consumer fintech, financial services, or technology products at scale
• Direct ownership experience of a significant product line, business unit, or P&L with measurable outcomes
• Deep understanding of consumer finance mechanics, business models, and unit economics
• Strong product judgement with clear vision for how AI transforms traditional financial workflows
• Experience building products and scaling teams within high-growth technology companies
• Hands-on operating style with ability to work directly through product development, AI capability requirements, economic modeling, and customer problem-solving
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
