CEO – AI Finance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a CEO to build and lead their AI-native finance division. This is a rare opportunity to own an entire business vertical from strategy through execution, creating consumer financial products that leverage artificial intelligence to fundamentally reshape how people manage their money.

This is a remote role open to candidates globally. You will work across multiple time zones in a distributed, fast-moving international environment with colleagues from over 20 countries.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI Finance product strategy, roadmap, and business model
• Identify financial workflows where AI can materially improve user experience, cost, or speed
• Build AI-native financial products from concept through launch and scale across spending, saving, investing, and other everyday financial needs
• Own P&L, customer growth, revenue, unit economics, and operating performance
• Collaborate deeply with product, engineering, and AI teams on product capabilities and user experience
• Build and lead the core team across product, technology, operations, and commercial functions
• Expand into new financial products and markets as the business scales

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building consumer fintech, financial services, or technology products
• Direct ownership of a meaningful product, business, or P&L
• Strong understanding of consumer finance, business models, and unit economics
• Strong product judgment and understanding of how AI can transform existing financial workflows
• Experience building products and teams in high-growth technology environments
• Hands-on operating style with the ability to work directly through product development, AI capabilities, economics, and customer problems
• Strong English communication skills (required for global team collaboration)
• Comfortable working effectively in a distributed, fast-moving international team
