Join B-H Transfer Co. as a full-time CDL-A driver based in Soperton, Treutlen County, where you'll operate modern equipment while serving the Savannah port region's container transportation needs.

About the Role

This is a regional intermodal position focused on container operations at the Savannah port facilities. You'll maintain predictable home time—returning 2–3 nights weekly—while earning competitive weekly compensation averaging $1,000–$1,300 gross. The work centers on hauling shipping containers into and out of port locations with newer Freightliner Cascadia equipment and company-provided chassis.

What You'll Do

• Operate loaded and empty container runs between Savannah port terminals and regional destinations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT standards
• Maintain detailed logbooks and documentation for all freight movements
• Coordinate with port personnel and dispatch to optimize container transfers
• Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all traffic and hours-of-service regulations

What We're Looking For

• Active Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record
• Experience in regional or intermodal trucking operations
• Familiarity with port procedures and container handling protocols preferred
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Professional approach to safety and vehicle maintenance
• Willingness to work regional routes with consistent home time
