What You'll Do
- Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquids and industrial materials to customer locations
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical concerns
- Maintain detailed logbooks and ensure strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch on routes and schedules while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Handle cargo securely and follow all hazmat and tanker-specific safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams throughout the delivery process
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with tanker and hazmat endorsements
- Proven experience driving tanker trucks in regional or long-haul operations (2+ years)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or safety incidents
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and tanker-specific safety requirements
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify maintenance issues
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and independent work capability
