About the Role

As a Mitigation Project Manager with Paul Davis Restoration of Metro New York / New Jersey, you will own each mitigation job from the very first notice of loss all the way through final completion. Based in Chelsea and Clinton, Manhattan, you will coordinate crews, communicate with customers, and keep projects moving so that homes and businesses are restored quickly and correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee water, fire, mold, and contents mitigation projects from the initial loss report through to completion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, guiding them through the restoration journey with clear, reassuring communication.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate field crews to keep each project on track and on time.
• Monitor job progress, quality, and documentation to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
• Respond promptly when emergencies strike, providing steady leadership when it matters most.

Qualifications

• Experience managing restoration, mitigation, or related construction projects is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with water, fire, mold, and contents loss work and the steps required to restore properties.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to juggle multiple active projects at once.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities, especially with people experiencing stressful situations.
• Willingness to work on-site across the Chelsea and Clinton, Manhattan area in this full-time, non-remote position.
