Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Mpower platform in Lincolnshire Woods, Lake County. In this full-time role, you'll oversee a high-performing engineering team while driving the vision for modern, user-centered software experiences that serve healthcare professionals.

About the Role

The Mpower Software Engineering Manager position combines hands-on technical leadership with team development and strategic platform stewardship. You'll manage the architecture, development, and delivery of front-end and application systems that power Medline's ecosystem, working closely with product and leadership to turn vision into shipped features that users depend on.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team focused on building scalable front-end applications and modern user experiences
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle for Mpower, including feature development, system upgrades, and platform maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and technical trade-offs
• Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and system reliability across your team
• Contribute hands-on to architecture decisions and complex technical challenges
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in front-end development or full-stack systems
• 2+ years of direct team leadership or technical management experience
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience shipping customer-facing features and balancing technical excellence with business velocity
• Passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning
